DRAWING ON TOP OF SNAPS After you snap, you can click on the pencil icon and draw over top of your image. You can simply draw arrows, circles, or add doodle details and accents on your photo. The default color is bright red, but you can change this easily by choosing a new color in the color palette. If you want to draw in white, simply tap on the color palette and drag left without lifting your finger. To draw black, drag your finger towards the bottom of your screen. While selecting white and black, you will notice you can get other shades and hues like light pink and navy blue, so darken and lighten your colors too! On Android, there’s a vertical bar with rainbow colors on it that appears when you tap the pencil icon. Choose and change colors within this bar when drawing in Snapchat with the pencil tool on Android.

You can draw in multiple colors over your snap by selecting a new color before each doodle. If you draw something you don’t like, simply click the counter clockwise arrow next to the pen tool to “undo” the last drawing.
